- Bank of Ireland has the lowest interest rate for high energy rated properties (BER A, B and C) where the mortgage loan is greater and €250,000 with their four year fixed-term rates of 3.10%, 3.15% and 3.2% respectively.
- AIB also has a 3.20% three year fixed rate that is not limited to high value mortgages
- When the 2% and 3% cashback incentives from PTSB and Bank of Ireland are taken into account, as well as the energy rating and high value loans, the net payment can often be comparable or lower to the lower interest rates offered by other lenders.
- In addition, for PTSB customers who are paying their mortgage from a PTSB Explore account, they can also receive a monthly 2% cashback on their mortgage repayments.

- Avant Money has the lowest lending rates for non-BER rated properties on all mortgage values.
- Bank of Ireland and PTSB’s four-year fixed rate is also competitive, however comes with no cashback option (unlike its three- and five-year options albeit at higher interest rates).
